Services
Pool and spa heat pump and air conditioning services.
We specialise in pool and spa heat pump repairs and servicing, the work a lot of refrigeration techs won't touch. We also supply and install new pool heat pumps and residential air conditioning across the Sunshine Coast.
Pool heat pump repairs
Pool heat pumps run under harsh conditions with water chemistry, salt chlorination and coastal air. Many refrigeration technicians will not touch pool units because they require specialized knowledge of both refrigeration circuits and titanium heat exchangers. Thermal Control diagnoses and repairs all pool heat pump faults across the Sunshine Coast.
Pool heat pump servicing
Sunshine Coast salt air and heavy summer humidity cause corrosion and coil blockages on outdoor pool heat pumps. Routine annual servicing removes salt encrustation, tests refrigerant pressures, clears condensate drains, and prevents premature compressor failure.
Pool heat pump installation
Installing the wrong size heat pump means freezing water in shoulder months or astronomical running costs. Thermal Control measures your pool volume, water surface area, wind exposure, and whether a thermal blanket is used before calculating the exact kilowatt capacity your pool needs.
Spa heat pumps
Electric element spa heaters cost a fortune to run. A dedicated spa heat pump produces up to five times more heat energy per kilowatt of electricity consumed, heating your spa to 38 degrees in a fraction of the time with minimal power draw.
Air conditioning installation
Whether you need a single bedroom split system to beat humid Sunshine Coast summer nights or a complete whole-home ducted system, Thermal Control provides clean installations with neat pipe runs, correct sizing and full manufacturer warranty support.
Air conditioning repairs and servicing
Air conditioner not cooling, blowing warm air, leaking water down your interior wall or making strange rattling noises? Thermal Control offers complete fault diagnosis and restorative coil cleaning to get your air conditioning working at peak capacity.
Pool automation
Automating your pool heating ensures your heat pump only runs during the warmest parts of the day or alongside your solar power generation. We configure and integrate pool automation systems so you can monitor and adjust water temperature directly from your phone.
