Thermal Control is owned and operated by Chris Schultz. With 15 years in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry and 5 years trading as Thermal Control, we specialise in the pool and spa heat pump repairs that so many other technicians turn away.
Our Story
The work a lot of refrigeration techs won't touch.
Pool and spa heat pumps operate in demanding environments. They mix complex refrigeration circuits, titanium water heat exchangers, digital microprocessors and harsh coastal salt water chemistry.
Because pool heat pumps sit between pool plumbing and refrigeration, many general air conditioning mechanics avoid them or tell owners the entire unit must be replaced.
At Thermal Control, we take the opposite approach. We specialise in diagnosing and repairing pool and spa heat pumps. With 15 years of trade background, Chris Schultz diagnoses the actual fault, sources the correct sensors, valves or capacitors, and gets your heating running again without unnecessary replacement costs.
We also supply and install high efficiency new pool heat pumps, spa heat pumps, and residential split and ducted air conditioning across the Sunshine Coast.
